Ace Ventura returns in the sequel to the surprise hit original, with basically more of the same. Ace leaves his new found home in Tibet as a Buddist when he's hired to track down a giant bat (Ace is actually scared of bats as is later revealed) which belongs to the Watamala tribe. Along the way he must battle with red herrings, the rival tribe, rich snobs, plus he becomes attracted to a woman of the tribe who is about to get married.

Jim Carrey does it again, so if you enjoyed the original then you should enjoy this one too. Although not quite as good as Pet Detective, it still raises a smile and should make you laugh now and again. Highlights include Ace's reference to a short rich bloke as the 'monopoly guy', and a Cliffhanger spoof at the start involving him trying to save a racoon. After the large number of children who watched the original, the sequel has been toned down to allow for younger audiences, which may explain why it's lost a bit of it's edge.
