Harrison Ford is the United States President, and when Air Force One (the president's plane) is hijacked by terrorists, it's all up to the Prez to save the day. As the bodyguards are killed, and passengers are threatened with death or are executed, it's a race against time for the President to save his wife and daughter who are also on the plane and being held at gun point. The terrorists' demand is simply that they're imprisoned dictator is released, or all the passengers on the plan will die.
Air Force One is a brilliant film. Although the idea of the President being a gun slinging super hero is a little bit unrealistic, the action and thrills cime thick and fast to make this a very enjoyable action flick. As the action takes place on the plane, Ford has an opportunity to escape through a capsule, but he ejects it whilst staying on the place, leading the bad guys in the plane and the god guys back at the White House to believe the president has escaped. Little do they know that he is still on board in an attempt to save his family and the rest of the crew, and take out a few terrorists.
