Marcus Burnett (Lawrence) is a cop with a wife and family, his partner Mike Lowrey (Smith) is a smooth talking bachelor. They're latest case forces them to swap roles while protecting a key witness (Leoni), who saw her friend, and Smith's girlfriend, shot dead. What follows is an action-packed film, based around Smith and Lawrennce protecting their witness, but obviously it's not as simple as it should be and we get a load of funny scenes to do with their swapped roles.
Bad Boys is a good film, with lots of action and lots of laughs. I suppose it really depends on whether you are fans of Lawrence or Smith, and if they're humour doesn't suit you then maybe this is not for you. The film not only focuses on solving the solten drugs/murder case, but the protecting of the witness, Smith playing the husband to his partner's wife, and basically a load of other stuff. It's difficult to actually think of something to talk about for this film, other than it's really good and any fans of the action (comedy) genre should watch it.
