Stars - Arnold Schwarzenegger, George Clooney

The fourth installment of the Batman series, and probably the weakest. In this film evil Dr. Freeze (Schwarzenegger) wants to take over the world, and the other villain Posion Ivy (Thurman) also has plans to take over the world. Batman and Robin have to stop them, but this time they have the assistance of Batgirl (Silverstone) to help them save Gotham City.

This is nothing new, and doesn't live up to the standards of the other three. The movies seem to have slowly evolved from dark and sometimes violent tales of villainous monsters, into over-the-top children's fantasy films. Although Arnold does well as Freeze, the character doesn't come off as a baddie that the viewers will hate or be scared of. Uma Thurman's character is hollow, and the heroes are all the same as they have been in the other films.

If you are a fan of any of the stars they you'll probaby enjoy it more than most, but really this is a film aimed at a younger audience. I really could not get into this one, and it's a shame since there are some nice set designs and special effects, it's just a shame about the storyline and lack of worthwhile incident.
