Arnold is John Kruger, or the "eraser". He works for the Witness Protection Program, and fakes the deaths of witnesses who need new identities for their protection. is latest assignment is Lee Cullen (Williams) who has found out that there are some traitors working for the national defence who are planning to sell some devestating new secret weapons to terrorists. Arnold must "erase" her before she's killed for real, and he also ends up helping her to uncover the traitors.
This a great action flick, with loads of good special effects and superb stunts. The scene most will remember is where Arnold jumps out of an aeroplane, catches the parachute in mid-air, and uses it to save himself. These kind action sequences are all too well-known to Schwarzenegger fans and although they may be unrealistic, they provide for a thoroughly entertaining film. Even though Eraser isn't going to win any awards for performances, any action fans will be satisfied with this. Anyway, even if a film has good performances and intelligent script is it still brilliant if it's boring? I think not. Eraser is a great film, so don't miss it.
