Emily (Silverstone) is the daughter of a wealthy businessman, but craves attention. Well she gets more attention than she wanted when her fake kidnapping has a slight hitch. As part of her plan, she ties herself up and hides in her car boot, but everything goes wrong when car thief Vincent (Del Toro) decides to make off with Emily's BMW, and when he arrives at the garage where the car will be re-sprayed, he finds Emily in the boot and has to decide what to do. After talking to her he wants nothing to do with her, so he and assistant Greg try and come up with a way of getting rid of her. Anwway, as the film progresses, we have to crooks and a couple of detectives chasing Vincent, and Emily's creepy uncle is also looking for, and the obvious happens as Emily and Vincent start falling for each other.

To be honest I didn't think much of this film. I don't remember laughing, the romance was predictable, and for the main part I was bored. Although Silverstone can keep your attention, no one else did anything for this film. Even Christopher Walken's character was less than interesting, despite him giving another sinister performance even with a 'good guy' character. I am not sure who I'd recomend this one to, maybe any romanctic film fans, particularly teenagers.
